Overlake Medical Center & Clinics has a unique and rewarding opportunity to lead the HR function throughout our organization. The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

This highly visible position reports directly to the Chief People Officer. We're looking for an innovative problem-solver who is passionate about maintaining an exceptional employee experience. Our ideal candidate will have a background in labor relations in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Management or a related field is required. (Masters degree preferred.)
  • Minimum five years in human resources management with strong leadership experience.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting in a highly competitive market is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a union environment strongly preferred.
