We are currently looking for an experienced IT Engineering Manager to take charge of our Information and Technology Bureau. This crucial role involves overseeing the successful execution of upcoming projects and ensuring the efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Architecture and Integration:

• Define and architect server infrastructure for compatibility and scalability.
• Develop and execute infrastructure build workstreams aligned with agency goals.
  
  

Project Management And Coordination

• Oversee project timelines for various initiatives, coordinating dependencies and resources.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication to ensure all parties are informed of project progress.
  
  

Firewall Upgrade Strategy

• Develop and execute the strategy for upgrading firewall infrastructure.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth transitions and enhanced security.
  
  

Mobile Device Management (MDM) Solutions

• Implement centralized management solutions for laptops and phones using MDM solutions.
• Ensure efficient resource coordination and communication during implementation.
  
  

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Solution Planning

• Design and plan the implementation of VDI solutions for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Ensure compatibility and scalability within the existing infrastructure.
  
  

Disaster Recovery And System Redundancy

• Design and implement comprehensive disaster recovery and system redundancy plans.
• Regularly test plans to meet business continuity requirements.
  
  

Data Center HVAC/Pre-Action Fire Suppression/UPS Systems Upgrades

• Plan and execute upgrades to HVAC systems for improved environmental control.
• Coordinate project timelines, resource management, and stakeholder communication for HVAC projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in system engineering roles focusing on server, storage, and/or network infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial roles in IT infrastructure fields.
• Familiarity with enterprise servers, storage area network, network switches/protocols, backup solutions, disaster recovery approaches, and security best practices.
• Experience with Nutanix Hyper Converged Infrastructure and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and VDI solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
