Penta Group is seeking a creative, highly driven Director of Marketing to join our organization and lead the expansion of our marketing activity. Reporting to Andy Whitehouse, the Senior Partner overseeing Marketing for Penta, this leader will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the firm’s brand, increase client engagement, and drive business growth.

You will draw on your experience in creating compelling content to enhance Penta's brand reputation and thought leadership in the professional services industry. Using your prowess with data-driven marketing strategy, you will analyze campaign metrics and extract insights, refining our marketing efforts and influencing the success of future outreach.

This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of professional services, and an analytical and collaborative approach to solving problems. This person will be expected to execute on our marketing goals by collaborating with and relying on internal resources across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance client acquisition and growth for Penta’s analytics and consulting services
  • Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, utilizing both digital and field marketing techniques
  • Produce engaging content for various marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent brand messaging, tone, and voice
  • Manage brand reputation campaigns for Penta in the U.S., including the creation of published content
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members involved in marketing and communications
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and other departments to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business objectives
  • Analyze marketing data to assess campaign effectiveness, identify improvement areas, and implement strategies to enhance success of future outreach
  • Present campaign performance metrics to leadership to provide insights into the impact of U.S. marketing efforts
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in B2B marketing and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, strategic communications, or a related field
  • Over 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, including experience in content, digital, and field marketing initiatives, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong skills in creating compelling content for blogs, thought leadership articles, insights reports, and more
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive B2B marketing and communications plans throughout the client development cycle
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with marketing analytics and measurement tools
  • A background in the Professional Services industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with Hubspot or Salesforce for marketing campaigns is advantageous
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Figma or Canva is a plus

Location :

This position is for US-based personnel and will be hybrid. Preference will be given to applicants in either San Francisco, CA, or the New York City metro area who can be in-person in-office at least three days per week.

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position will be 125,000 - 150,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as it relates to the position.
