Primary Responsibilities:

You’re the leader of a highly productive and creative brand development team, charged with building economic value and inspiring loyalty in the Bozzuto brand. You foster alignment with your internal and external clients by being the strategic voice of the Bozzuto consumer. You bring your passion for branding to the work that you do every day. You lead a team that creates strategic and innovative brands that support community leasing with impactful active new development launch plans. You are obsessed with understanding Bozzuto’s consumer mindset and strive to create extraordinary experiences for customers and team members alike.

As Director of Marketing, your focus will be leading the brand development functions of the marketing team across Bozzuto’s nationwide portfolio. You will have a heavy emphasis on ensuring the successful launch of BMC’s pipeline of active new developments. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a regionally focused brand team that is charged with overseeing the brand development and launch of Bozzuto’s pipeline of multifamily and mixed-use assets
  • Ensuring that the team delivers needed lead volume, supports customer acquisition and retention goals, and contributes to the creation of extraordinary experiences and loyalty in the Bozzuto brand
  • Working closely with the VP of Marketing, Creative Director to ensure the deliverables for each community’s brand are delivered on time (and within budget) and adhere to Bozzuto’s brand standards of quality, excellence, and fair housing guidelines
  • Managing your own portfolio of assets through the brand development and launch process
  • Creating an environment that supports consistent client and internal stakeholder alignment and satisfaction
  • Inspiring a culture of innovation and creativity within the team that leads to award-winning work both within and outside the industry
  • Leading by example and being a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong, loyal relationships with all constituents—owners, team members, internal customers, partners and vendors
  • Support business development initiatives by participating in client presentations in existing and emerging markets the company serves
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. Establishing & maintaining industry contacts.
  • Inspiring the professional growth and development of all team members

  • Ensuring the Bozzuto brand is appropriately represented across all aspects of the customer journey

  • Proactively managing the performance of all team members through coaching, performance reviews, regular constructive feedback and development/growth plans
  • Taking responsibility for delivering results, making sure issues are addressed and resolved with urgency
  • Participating in training and educational opportunities to further your skills


What You Bring to Us:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or University (preferably with coursework in Marketing or a related field)
  • 8-12 years of marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years being in the residential multifamily or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of strong brand development experience, preferably in the residential multifamily industry
  • A keen eye for creative and an astute attention to detail
  • Proven success in crafting and implementing innovative ideas and concepts
  • A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, internal stakeholders and team members
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Proven success in managing and launching a portfolio of multiple brands
  • Ability to travel as needed to support your assigned markets
  • Expertise in developing and implementing marketing strategies and managing the activation process effectively to maximize value and support marketing and leasing goals
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver marketing plans within budget and time constraints
  • Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver, highly motivated and enthusiastic collaborative team member and leader
  • Able to develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of team and customers by communicating openly, honestly and constructively, treating all employees and customers with dignity, respect and courtesy.
