Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of external communications, including media relations, social media, and content creation.
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, influencers, and partners.
- Craft compelling press releases, presentations, speeches, and other communication materials.
- Manage and analyze social media platforms to engage audiences and drive results.
- Stay on top of industry trends and identify new communication opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Measure the success of communication initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic communication plans.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong media relations experience and the ability to secure media placements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in social media marketing and content creation tools.
- A passion for our mission and a commitment to making a difference.
- Experience working in a non-profit organization.
- Social media savvy with a knack for engaging online communities.
- Understanding of the latest communication trends and technologies.
