Job Summary:

As the Director/Head of Marketing, you will oversee all things marketing (social media, streaming, acquisition, performance, media, SEO, CRM, and affiliates), with a heavy focus on acquisition and CRM for our B2C business. The Director/Head of Marketing will be responsible for building a successful marketing department including, but not limited to, setting the organizational structure of the department and identifying top talent, setting KPIs and expectations, mentoring and coaching team members, consistently monitoring metrics and reporting to executive leaders, assessing performance and ROI, continuously strategizing on budget and approach while also scaling for growth in tandem with the business.


A successful leader in this position will be both creative and analytical, assertive and polished in communicating and presenting strategies, and have a strong history of leading and developing successful teams. You will also collaborate very closely with all departments, emphasizing a focus on our products/platform and our overall brand reputation/player experience. This position reports directly to the CEO and will work in close partnership with the Executive VP of Brand Strategy as well as the core executive leadership team at High 5. While High 5 is extremely proud of our current brand reputation, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to take full ownership in taking us to the next level during a rapid growth phase!


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across social media, streaming, acquisition, performance, media, SEO, CRM, and affiliates.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team, including assessment of current talent as well as identifying and recruiting for future talent. Skilled in strategy planning, workforce planning, and managing a staffing budget.
  • Manage the current marketing budget; assess performance of current spend, present business case/data analytics to support changes in future marketing budget.
  • Supervise acquisition marketing functions, including current affiliate and media buying functions as well as establishing future tactics.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop department KPIs, as well as analyze and present ROI of marketing spend and successful strategies for future improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g. Creative, Data Science, Product, Project Management, HR) to ensure a holistic approach to player experience and brand development.
  • Work closely with CRM team to develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns and streamline processes for efficiency.

  • The ability to develop high-level strategies, execute them hands-on, and scale for growth.
  • Analytical skills to present tangible data and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Strong people management experience; global people management experience preferred.
  • The ability to "manage up" effectively with executive leadership.
  • Grit and determination to overcome challenges in a growing organization.
