Director of nutrition and dietetics

Full-time, tenure-track position

Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in nutrition and dietetics preferred, R.D.N. and other appropriate terminal degree considered.

Responsibilities

Teach up to 9 credit hours in the general education curriculum, undergraduate nutrition and dietetics curriculum, and integrated master’s program in nutrition and dietetics of Bluffton University each term (fall, spring, and summer). Maintain an active agenda of scholarship and creative work. Engage in service to the university and community.

Develop policies and procedures for effectively managing all components of the program. Advise students on their academic programs. Recruit students. Maintain a well-staffed and well-prepared faculty. Organize teaching assignments. Maintain program accreditation. Develop and manage a comprehensive program development strategy.

Compensation

Commensurate with education and experience within the university pay scale.
