Compensation: $115-135K + 10% bonus.
The Director of Operations will be a key leader responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company. You will work closely with the CEO, who focuses on strategy and long-term direction, while you manage the day-to-day details. We are looking for someone with strong business experience, particularly in operations, to oversee all aspects of our warehouse, logistics, and supply chain functions. While knowledge of the music industry is a plus, the primary requirement is expertise in business operations.
This executive-level role is the second in command, leading a team of about 60 employees. Our workplace culture is collaborative and professional, with a focus on maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for all team members. You’ll be managing a 15K sq. ft. facility that includes a warehouse and a shipping/receiving operation, supporting both direct-to-consumer sales and affiliate partnerships.
Currently, our organization is undergoing a transition while also navigating our peak rental season. Your priority will be to manage this transition effectively and ensure continued operational success.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Operations Management: Overseeing daily operations across all departments, including logistics, inventory management, supply chain, and resource planning.
- Project Management: Leading and coordinating interdepartmental projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Facility Management: Managing the day-to-day operations of our facilities to ensure they run smoothly.
- HR & Compliance Coordination: Collaborating with Corporate HR and Legal to maintain compliance with regulations and enhance employee experiences.
- Strategic Planning: Maintaining the company’s strategic calendar and managing key initiatives.
- Reports To: NEMC CEO
- Direct Reports: IT Manager, Logistics Manager, Admin Assistant
- Location: This position is primarily in-office, with limited work-from-home opportunities.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in business management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management. Experience in the music industry is a plus, but not essential.
- Strong leadership and resource management skills.
- Proficiency with technology and data analytics software.
- Consistent, reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- The role involves typing, sitting, standing, and walking as needed.
- Requires focused attention while working at a computer.
- The work environment is comfortable and conducive to productivity.
- FLSA Status: Regular Full-Time Exempt (Salary) Employee.
