About The Role
As a dynamic leader reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s future. With your veterinary medicine experience, you’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to establish and refine standards, practices, and policies that elevate the experience for our patients, clients, and employees. Your mission will be to gather insights, develop best practices, and drive efficiencies while nurturing our next generation of leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Excellence: Oversee operations and site leaders to enhance client experiences and operational efficiencies.
- Coach & Develop: Provide training and mentorship, ensuring financial metrics and regulatory standards are met.
- Innovate & Improve: Use your strategic thinking to set goals, create solutions, and adapt to industry changes.
- Lead & Support: Establish processes and consistency through the Operational Readiness Playbook, and collaborate on KPI reporting and compliance.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required, with 3-5 years of experience in business management, and a strong financial acumen. A background in veterinary medicine is required.
- Skills & Traits: Excellent communication, creative problem-solving, empathy for people and pets, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Analytical Thinking: Anticipate issues and proactively address gaps in processes.
- Reporting: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
- Training & Coaching: Assess needs, deliver training, and support staff development.
- Audits & Site Visits: Conduct regular check-ins, review standards, and drive operational excellence.
