THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee our daily operations of our Pittsburgh and Cleveland area locations and ensure our company operates effectively and efficiently. The Director of Operations will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement across all operational functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Lead and oversee the operational team, including Branch Managers and their downlines.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., sales, finance, HR) to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets related to operations, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards for quality and safety.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among operational staff.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (7-10 years) in operations management, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
