Job Summary

As the Director of Operations Services, you will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee business operations activities for the Operations Services department, ensuring development, integration, and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the Company.

Leadership Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee leadership and program management for key strategic business initiatives. This includes the effective integration of newly acquired businesses, continuous improvement of internal and external processes, and successful field implementation of key growth opportunities. You will also be responsible for developing tools and processes to enhance productivity. The position involves providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across teams in multiple regions.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Leadership team to develop and implement strategies for key business initiatives.
  • Serves as a strategic advisor within the Leadership team, ensuring alignment and achievement of performance standards.
  • Develops methods to enhance quality and efficiency, reduce costs, boost profits, and strengthen control measures.
  • Collaborates to refine systems, processes, and procedures, boosting overall efficiency and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Delivers comprehensive, accurate, and timely reports and presentations on integration and process improvements.
  • Aligns the team with metrics to track and monitor the success of integrations using established KPIs.
  • Champions organizational change, identifying integration challenges, and deploying effective mitigation plans and sustainable solutions with Leadership.
  • Manages project timelines effectively, addressing needs, resolving conflicts in priorities, and navigating scheduling challenges proactively.
  • Applies sound business judgment and strategic thinking in managing escalations, developing solutions, and mitigating risks.
  • Stays informed on emerging trends in business operations management to keep the company at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This position is primarily office-based, with opportunities for remote work as deemed appropriate.
  • The position requires 40%-50% travel, including by aircraft and motor vehicle.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum of five (5) years of Operations Services supervisory experience or relevant field.
  • Ability to advance the team by demonstrating leadership, communication, problem-solving, coaching, counseling, and business acumen.
  • Fostering and maintaining a positive, collaborative, and constructive working environment.
  • Proven experience in multi-unit operations management in the food and beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Strong business acumen and fiscal management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and people skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, working at a computer or desk.
  • Capacity to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capability to attend and lead meetings, events, and presentations.
  • Mobility to move around the office or other work locations as needed.
  • Manual dexterity to use office equipment and perform necessary job functions.
  • Visual acuity to read and analyze documents and reports.
  • Auditory ability to listen and interact during discussions and meetings.
  • The ability to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs. may be necessary.
  • The position requires travel, including by aircraft and motor vehicle.
