Job Title: Director of Pricing and strategic Initiative

Location: Deerfield, IL

Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in merchandising installations. As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a strategic Pricing and Strategy Director to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop pricing strategies
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities.
• Define pricing KPIS
• Lead and manage a team
• Provide ad hoc analysis
• Create and maintain pricing models to optimize profitability.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies for new product launches.
• Analyze customer behavior and feedback to refine pricing approaches.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (including sales, marketing, and finance) to align pricing with business goals.
• Provide insights on pricing adjustments based on market dynamics and customer needs.
• Continuously monitor and adjust pricing strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business in finance or accounting and (Master’s preferred).
• Strategic and innovative individual
• 10 years of experience in pricing, strategy, or related roles from value based pricing industry
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to think creatively and independently propose pricing solutions.
• Experience in a retail or home improvement environment is a plus.
