About The Role
As the Director of Pricing, you will be crucial in developing and executing pricing strategies that drive profitability, strengthen our competitive position, and support our overall business goals. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends and patterns, generating insights, and making data-driven decisions to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Specific Responsibilities
Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: up to 20%
As the Director of Pricing, you will be crucial in developing and executing pricing strategies that drive profitability, strengthen our competitive position, and support our overall business goals. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends and patterns, generating insights, and making data-driven decisions to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute comprehensive pricing strategies for all product categories
- Monitor market trends, competitive pricing, and consumer behavior to make pricing decisions
- Identify opportunities for price optimization and margin improvement
- Analyze pricing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Generate reports and dashboards to track pricing performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand product costs and value propositions
- Communicate pricing strategies, changes, and impacts to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate on promotional pricing, discounts, and special offers to drive sales and customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with market, legal and regulatory requirements related to pricing
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience in pricing strategy, preferably in e-commerce or retail
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies
- Experience with cost/price negotiations and forecasting
- Experience in merchandise planning
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making
