Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sales Account Manager in Personal care at NextGen Actives. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for customer satisfaction, account management, customer service, lead generation, and effective communication to drive sales and maintain client relationships on a day-to-day basis.


Key Duties


Duties and Responsibilities: 


Customer Sales Growth and Maintenance


  • Develop new accounts with focus on thriving business in west coast and east coast.
  • Customer visits, calls, manage lead inquiries and overall follow up (sales calls, messages, meetings)
  • Grow sales by developing and implementing account plans
  • Manage sales agreements and contracts
  • Seek out new growth opportunities and new customers with professional beauty brands
  • Present new products and data to customers



Other customer related projects/duties


  • Set up presentations and special projects for customers
  • Negotiate pricing with customer purchasing departments
  • Customer lead follow up and tracking
  • Sample request for customers entered in CRM C4C system
  • Internal presentations as requested



Maintain Company Databases


  • Call reports, correspondence log, monthly / quarterly reports, sales & opportunity updates, forecasting and margin management



Maintain Personal Care Market Knowledge


  • Maintain knowledge of competitive situations
  • Stay up to date on industry trends/issues
  • Attend industry events and trade shows including planning & executing customer meetings.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have oral and written proficiency in the English language.
  • Must reside in greater Los Angeles area with ability to travel and visit customers 50% of the time.
  • Expertise in account management, price negotiations, project management and effectively managing customer relationships at all levels within an organization.
  • 5+ years of experience in “Personal Care”, with a proven track record of success
  • Previous lab experience strongly preferred.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills required.
  • Must be a self-starter that can work independently.



Note- this is a commission-based job. the candidate will not be offering a base salary, but the commission and bonus from their sales and revenue.
