Job Description: Service Director
Location: Charlotte Metro
Reports to: Regional Director of Operations North America
Position Summary: Responsible for the growth and profitability of the service business segment. This role involves setting and executing strategies, managing the service organization, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 15-20 service professionals.
Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing individuals.
Communicate financial results to management and accurately forecast future results.
Develop and implement service-level agreements with customers, including pricing, terms, and performance metrics.
Create and execute strategies to grow the service business and achieve financial targets.
Ensure smooth transitions from project business units to aftermarket service.
Evaluate and recommend improvements for CRM systems.
Ensure field technicians follow established safety protocols.
Monitor and manage the supply chain for spare parts.
Quality Control:
Follow procedures and maintain customer orientation.
Conduct quality control within the work domain.
Ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
Respect client and employer property.
Communicate any unclear tasks to the responsible party.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of 5 years managing a service organization.
Strong understanding of corporate finance.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, written, and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Practical, adaptable, resourceful, and organized.
Self-motivated and confident, with training capabilities.
Outgoing personality with a focus on customer relationships.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to travel up to 20%.
