Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Human Resources Director (HRD) to oversee employee relations, and full scope talent management in a fast-paced environment in the property management sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex employee relations issues, with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and demanding workplace. Experience in property management is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
HR Strategy and Leadership:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Talent Management:
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
Implement performance management systems and provide coaching and development opportunities for employees.
Develop and administer employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits:
Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures to ensure market competitiveness.
Oversee employee benefits administration and provide support for benefits-related inquiries.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Ensure consistent application of policies and address any inconsistencies.
Provide training and education to employees and managers on policy changes and updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations.
Experience in property management or a similar industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proficient in HRIS and other HR software.
