Our company revenue relies heavily on the quality of our products, customer service, sales, and WAREHOUSE team. We are looking for a Director of Warehouse Operations to join our team.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operational activities of a fulfillment center and/or distribution center. They will develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, maximize efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction. They will also manage operational teams, including those related to quality, warehousing, and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute operational objectives to improve and enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Manage and oversee all operational teams including fulfillment, warehousing, and quality.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, maximize efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Train and mentor staff on operational processes.
Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and programs.
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards.
Develop and manage budgets.
Develop systems and processes to improve operational productivity.
Develop process improvement projects to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency.
Manage inventory, shipping, and receiving processes.
Leverage technology, such as JDA Blue Yonder, WMS, and Microsoft Office, to optimize operations.
Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Director of Operations role will have:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Operations and/or Warehouse Management.
A Bachelors degree in business, operations, logistics, or a related field.
WMS application experience - Blue Yonder (JDA) or similar
Excel
Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma.
Experience in an eCommerce/fulfillment ideally
Benefits
Base Salary - $100,000 - $130,000
Bonuses - 10% year end if goals are hit
