THE DIRECTOR: Assists in the planning, organizing, and providing practice management services to the medical center's assigned speciality physician practices, subsidiaries, and other related interests. Provides practice supervision activities of clinical and non-clinical staff; oversees operations of assigned specialty practices across all regions within the physician network. Acts as a liaison for the practice staff with operational oversight to the department. Supervises the various clinic staff positions in assigned specialty practices.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business or Related field required
At least 5 years experience in physician office or related experience required
Minimum of 2 years experience in supervisory role required
Knowledge of physician office procedures preferred
Must have a wide range of billing, charging, and reimbursement guidelines
Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association at hire
MGMA membership and certification preferred
Coding certification preferred
