Director, Product Management, Digital Learning Experiences

The opportunity:

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Director will lead a team of four product managers in the creation and evolution of a portfolio of digital products serving our B2C and B2B markets. Working across units and with engineers, designers, project managers and our key stakeholders, this team is building new products that will serve the HBR, corporate learning and higher education markets.


What you’ll do:

  • Drive strategy, roadmaps, and business-critical needs to grow our B2B and B2C businesses.
  • Lead and develop a team of high performing product managers who can seize on opportunities across the business.
  • Help define our next generation of learning products and navigate the intersection of media and learning in our work.
  • Advise product leadership and stakeholders on strategic decisions, communicating product vision and progress against goals clearly and proactively.
  • Lead cross-functional team(s) in developing and implementing technical solutions.


What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in edtech or media.
  • Strong understanding of the product life cycle, from concept to design, development, deployment, optimization and maintenance.
  • Experience working with agile teams and frameworks (Scrum and/or Kanban) and prioritizing features/roadmap for technical teams
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams (developers, QA, Release Engineering, DevOps) and microservices-based solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Proven ability to synthesize market data, track product performance and analytics, and collect user feedback to inform feature development and go-to-market strategies.

  • Experience with building personalized, data-driven experiences.

$140,000 - $190,000


Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
