About the role:

Aurigo is experiencing significant growth. As we expand our client base and product offerings, we seek a seasoned Director, Project Management to drive continued growth by designing and delivering exceptional services for our customers. You will lead and develop a team of Project Managers, and provide oversight for multiple large SaaS implementations, managing key customer stakeholder relationships, providing guidance for project teams, and ensuring that Aurigo executive leadership is well-informed and is engaged as necessary.


The ideal candidate can “zoom in and zoom out”, maintaining a strategic view while gathering, processing, and acting on detailed information.This individual possesses a unique blend of financial acumen, leadership and management expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills. Success in this role requires shaping and executing complex deals, aligning with business objectives, and maximizing profitability while navigating ambiguity and pressure. Responsibilities:

Engagement Management:

Oversee multiple large enterprise software implementation projects from planning through execution and closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the senior point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure client delight through exceptional project delivery.

Manage contracts and the change control process with customers.

Proactively identify client needs and opportunities for expansion.

Identify and mitigate project risks, developing corrective action plans or intervening directly as needed.

People Development

Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, and ensuring appropriate staffing, resource allocation, and workload distribution.

Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of delivery teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to implement those changes.

Deal Architecture and Management:

Develop and execute complex deal structures, including solution design, pricing, and contract terms.

Collaborate with sales teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.

Build and manage project budgets. Ensure financial objectives are met, implement cost control measures, and report financial status to senior management.

Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including invoicing and performance management.

Solution Expertise:

Develop a deep understanding of Aurigo's construction software solutions and their application in the market.

Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to identify and develop new product features and capabilities.

Provide pre-sales technical support and product demonstrations to prospective clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in progressively leveraged IT consulting or software services roles, including Project, Program, or Engagement Management roles on large enterprise software implementations.
  • Superb executive-level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information, concisely, and tailored to the intended audience.
  • Excellent numerical literacy and command of complex project financial models.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, finance, customer success, and product teams.
  • Extensive experience managing customer relationships, with the ability to navigate complex organizations, identifying and building trust with key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a leader and people manager – mentoring, coaching, and developing others.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions
  • Experience with project management and CRM tools such as MS Project, Salesforce, and Azure DevOps.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with public sector clients, especially those dealing with infrastructure, transportation, and capital planning.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant project management certification.
