Description

The eDiscovery Director of Project Management is responsible for managing several direct reports, in addition managing client relationships with professional excellence, delivering white glove service that is consultative and proactive. The role requires experience with managing a team of eDiscovery professional project managers, experience with managing eDiscovery projects from inception through fruition as well. The role includes developing, maintaining and growing client relationships, coordinating and running client meetings, overseeing eDiscovery and related services, and identifying growth opportunities with Repario clients.

This experienced leader is client-facing and responsible for the oversight, mentoring and professional growth of team members. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders at law firms, corporate legal departments and other eDiscovery vendors to ensure high-quality and timely outcomes for Repario’s law firm and corporate clients. This experienced leader leverages process and technology expertise to design and deploy the most appropriate solution for a given client, project, and team, while providing excellent customer service and reporting.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Management of a team of Project Managers that provide end-to-end oversight of eDiscovery projects of all sizes and complexities, ensuring excellence of quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Advise clients on eDiscovery strategies from identification and collection through production, including culling and filtering, processing, and document review.
  • Primary client escalation point-of-contact for project-related queries, custom solutions and workflow consultation; general subject matter expert capable of deploying point SMEs as required.
  • Lead high level client communication meetings and service initiatives; offer suggestions, solutions and recommendations.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and communicating client initiatives and budgets.
  • Responsible for client-level reporting on metrics and deliverables.
  • Coordinates across internal delivery verticals to ensure appropriate services are deployed against client needs.
  • Lead the invoice process for team members and assigned clients-projects, including review and correction of client invoices.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of eDiscovery Project Management and/or eDiscovery management experience with a services vendor or major law firm
  • Expert-level knowledge of standard eDiscovery platforms including Relativity, Brainspace, etc.
  • Experience with analytics capabilities of various eDiscovery tools, and knowledge of associated best practice workflows
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines effectively
  • A proactive problem-solver with the experience to identify and remediate issues early
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; capable of providing effective client-facing status updates and managing clients through difficult decisions
  • Relationship builder, with a long-term approach to managing team members and client-relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to manage sideways in a matrixed environment
  • Self-starter with superior work ethic and professionalism

Preferred Requirements

  • MA in a relevant field a strong plus
  • Relativity Certified Administration (RCA) certification preferred; additional relevant certifications a strong plus

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
