Role: Director of Revenue Cycle

Location: Onsite at Randolph, Vermont

Client: Gifford Health in Vermont

Hybrid Model: Client explained it as more time spend onsite the better. May be work for one week onsite and then offsite for the next or work for 2 weeks and then remotely for 1 week.

Note: They will offer an apartment for the candidate to stay. They will cover expenses for the travel (gas). Prefer candidate local or someone from near by states.

Position Summary:

• The Director of Revenue Cycle Operations is responsible for leading the optimization of revenue cycle operations, systems, and policies and procedures.
• This position is responsible for promoting the financial viability of the organization by effectively overseeing all aspects of the organization’s revenue operations.
• This position will identify, analyze, reduce, and resolve all revenue cycle issues associated with billing and insurance collections, A/R resolution, charge description master, charge capture, revenue enhancement, cash applications, financial reporting, revenue cycle audits, training and development, information technology performance improvement, clinical documentation improvement, HIM and medical records (including coding).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health care management, health care finance, revenue cycle management, revenue integrity, or reimbursement experience is preferred.
• Critical Access Hospital experience is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of revenue Code & HCPCS coding.
