Role Overview
Ankura Strategy & Performance Directors lead large or complex projects, with regular guidance from their Managing Director. They collaborate with others to solve business problems and develop close relationships with clients. They typically have seven or more years of relevant business and consulting experience and have demonstrated exceptional consulting competencies through previous employment performance.

Role Overview
Ankura Strategy & Performance Directors lead large or complex projects, with regular guidance from their Managing Director. They collaborate with others to solve business problems and develop close relationships with clients. They typically have seven or more years of relevant business and consulting experience and have demonstrated exceptional consulting competencies through previous employment performance.
Responsibilities
- Leads large or complex projects
- Reviews and ensures quality deliverables
- Manages project scope, vision, objectives, schedule, budget, resources, vendors, dependencies, issues, risks, and change using best practice and/or “right-sized” methods, tools, and approaches
- Develops a comprehensive project plan for meeting the objectives within scope, including people, process, and technology components of the initiative
- Proactively manages, monitors, and adjusts plan throughout the project
- Maintains key documentation throughout the project, including status reports, issue/risk logs, decision history, business process diagrams, etc
- Gathers, elicits, documents, and analyzes business requirements
- Maps and analyzes current and future business processes
- Researches and analyzes potential solution approaches
- Continually analyzes business issues and facilitates resolution to keep the project on target
- Manages conflicts and escalates critical issues to the project sponsor
- Creates and implements a communications plan to keep team members, stakeholders, and sponsors up to date on project status and issues
- Flexibly contributes in other project roles, as necessary, with project sponsor approval

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Graduate degree in business, technical or analytical concentration a plus
- 7 or more years of relevant business and consulting experience
- Varied in leadership of complex business projects
- Project management and consulting experience
- Experience or education in information systems a plus
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with demonstrated ability to efficiently produce crisp, professional documents
