We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team at a leading behavioral health and addiction treatment organization. This role will play a crucial part in attracting top talent, particularly in nurse staffing and executive-level positions, to support our mission of providing exceptional care and service to our clients. With responsibility for managing a small team, this position requires a deep understanding of healthcare recruitment strategies and a commitment to excellence in candidate experience.


This is a remote opportunity but requires candidates to live in the Boise or Seattle Metropolitan areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the staffing needs of the organization, focusing on nurse staffing and executive roles.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing requirements and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract passive candidates and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of recruitment tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance recruitment effectiveness.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to leadership, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment, implementing changes as necessary to stay competitive in talent acquisition.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience and promote the organization as an employer of choice through effective communication and engagement.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to maximize their potential and ensure team success.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in healthcare, with a focus on nurse staffing and executive-level positions.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting healthcare professionals and executives, including knowledge of behavioral health and addiction treatment sectors.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Experience managing a small team and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technology platforms.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
