The Director, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for proactively managing the talent acquisition function for the Company. This role will be operationally accountable for processes including candidates sourcing, interview training and process, managing 3rd party talent acquisition partnerships, candidate selection and onboarding.
- Owns both the overall TA strategy and recruitment activities, including owning requisitions from sourcing to hire.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
- Create candidate pipeline approach that enables business continuity in critical areas.
- Evolve interview and assessment, systems, employer branding, and candidate management processes.
- Champion and represent Mural’s Core Values in recruitment, candidate assessment, culture and people initiatives.
- Leverage and manage 3rd party partnerships with talent acquisition firms, search firms and temporary agencies.
- Partner with Communications team on branding and external communications related to talent.
- Collaborate with other HR team members and functional leaders to drive HR initiatives, projects, and strategic priorities.
- Serve as a strategic HR partner providing comprehensive consultative support on organizational development, talent management, and employee relations.
- Develop relationships across all functions and levels of the company; collaborate closely with functional leaders to understand business and talent priorities.
- Ten (10) years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on talent acquisition.
- Prior experience in talent acquisition in a complex fast moving organizational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that drive business results and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Experience in the biotech industry with a strong talent network.
- Knowledge of current best practices within the talent acquisition profession in addition to federal, state and local employment-related regulations.
- Knowledge of the trends and methods for attracting and retaining employees specifically in the biotech industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and communicate with people across all levels in the organization.
- Strong interpersonal and written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with the ability to develop a high degree of personal credibility across client groups.
- Prior experience with HRMS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience in oncology and/or immunotherapy is preferred.
