Job Duties: The District Manager (DM) will be accountable for all aspects of performance in the operation of their assigned routes. The DM will lead and direct a team of Route Supervisors and Route Service Representatives in all aspects related to the performance of their duties. The DM will provide Leadership, Support and have an overall Vision for Retaining Customers, Growing the Business and Gaining market share.

Job Duties: The District Manager (DM) will be accountable for all aspects of performance in the operation of their assigned routes. The DM will lead and direct a team of Route Supervisors and Route Service Representatives in all aspects related to the performance of their duties. The DM will provide Leadership, Support and have an overall Vision for Retaining Customers, Growing the Business and Gaining market share.
- Create and maintain a safe environment with awareness and enforcement of work and Fleet safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the HR department in the recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new Service and Sales personnel.
- Achieve Branch performance goals through implementation of the Management Operating Systems consisting of the Customer Visitation Program, Route Check-In Process, Field Training and Audit Programs.
- Perform and ensure that regular written performance evaluations are completed on all Branch personnel.
- Actively partner with the Sales Manager and Sales Reps to ensure sales goals and performance results are consistently met.
- Support the Company’s profitability through the timely execution of positive growth initiatives, expense reductions, routing efficiencies and staffing optimization.
- Guide and coach the team on proactive rather than reactive methods in order to achieve “Best in Class” Service feedback from our customers.
- Collaborate with the Office and Local Team to ensure Accounts Receivable metrics stay in line with desired goals and expectations.
- Develop and introduce new strategies to retain, grow and gain market share.
- Proven success as a Leader and Manager.
- Demonstrated skills in customer service, sales and customer retention.
- Proven ability to negotiate on multiple levels (agreements, customer relations, etc.).
- Project Management.
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in daily use of Microsoft Word and Excel
