Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor your team to exceed sales targets in the medical gas market. Your focus will be on developing their skills, fostering a culture of safety and high performance, and driving significant market growth.
  • Medical Gas Expertise: We're seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of the medical gas industry (experience in healthcare gas is a plus, but industrial gas experience is also considered).
  • Customer Focus: Champion exceptional customer service, ensuring product knowledge and efficient problem resolution for healthcare providers.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Support sales strategies with insightful data analysis, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory management, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Collaborate with the Branch Manager in hiring, training, and coaching staff to cultivate a strong, motivated sales team.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders, adept at public speaking and written communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business preferred) or 7+ years of relevant experience in the medical or industrial gas industry. We value experience! If you have a proven track record of success without a degree, we encourage you to apply.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve ambitious targets (double-digit annual sales growth preferred).
  • Experience working with data and reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols within the gas industry.
  • Background knowledge of the assigned territory is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage diverse personalities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to safety and a drug-free work environment.
