District Sales Manager

Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor your team to exceed sales targets in the medical gas market. Your focus will be on developing their skills, fostering a culture of safety and high performance, and driving significant market growth.
- Medical Gas Expertise: We're seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of the medical gas industry (experience in healthcare gas is a plus, but industrial gas experience is also considered).
- Customer Focus: Champion exceptional customer service, ensuring product knowledge and efficient problem resolution for healthcare providers.
- Data-Driven Approach: Support sales strategies with insightful data analysis, budget management, and forecasting.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory management, and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Development: Collaborate with the Branch Manager in hiring, training, and coaching staff to cultivate a strong, motivated sales team.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders, adept at public speaking and written communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Business preferred) or 7+ years of relevant experience in the medical or industrial gas industry. We value experience! If you have a proven track record of success without a degree, we encourage you to apply.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing and motivating a sales team.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve ambitious targets (double-digit annual sales growth preferred).
- Experience working with data and reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols within the gas industry.
- Background knowledge of the assigned territory is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage diverse personalities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety and a drug-free work environment.
