$110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
A real estate development firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as the Division Accounting Manager,
Responsibilities:
Manage accurate production of project-level financial reports, reviewed, and completed, including reconciliations and analysis

Manage accurate production of project-level financial reports, reviewed, and completed, including reconciliations and analysis
- Manage to establish deadlines and time cycles for all processes within scope of responsibilities
- Oversee journal entries and general ledger maintenance, controls, and processes
- Oversee maintenance of project cash accounts and cash position, address cash bank reconciliation issues
- Oversee bank loan funding process with regards to Project Accountant responsibilities and requirements as determined
- Oversee semi-monthly construction cost recovery transactions for projects with homebuilding construction
- Resolve accounting discrepancies, inconsistencies, and irregularities in a timely manner
- Contribute to accounting infrastructure in Newstar and LandDev accounting systems
- Effectively communicate as primary liaison between operating division(s) and Accounting Dept. to provide guidance and support
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelors Degree in accounting or related field
- High GPA
- 4+ years of experience
- Management experience
