Job Description

At IPS, you will apply your knowledge, skills, and passion to make a difference in the lives of people, solving complex challenges related to pharmaceutical, biotech, and animal health research and manufacturing facilities. We are looking for a talented Document Control Analyst to join our team in Cary, North Carolina to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across various construction projects.

What You'll Do

  • Gather, organize, and group data from various database management sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Interpret and analyze findings and present actionable recommendations to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Establish tracking tools and monitor project data to establish trends, dashboards, and metrics, and identify areas to streamline workflows.
  • Conduct trend analysis on submittal data to identify trends and potential areas of risk or opportunity.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis.
  • Establish and maintain electronic indices of project documents and generate reports to communicate data-driven insights.
  • Support preparation of transmittals of engineering and procurement documents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven work experience using File Sharing sites for document posting, uploading, downloading, and manipulation (Procore, SharePoint, FTP, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BIM, PIMS, and/ or Procure.
  • Experience with data analytics tools.
  • 2-3 years of document control experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
