Summary Of Responsibilities
Prepare detailed drawings of steel products and assemblies according to specifications provided by customer and industry standards.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Detail small to large projects with speed and accuracy.
Be able to work a project from start to finish.
Must be able to perform at a high level to maintain project schedules.
Follow all department and company procedures.
Apply understanding of company production processes to the creation of product drawings.
Be able to form working relationship with internal and external customers.
Offer ideas to management to continually improve products and processes.
Will accept and challenge and perform the job or task at the highest level of professionalism.
Individual requires minimum checking and minimum supervision.
Checking of other drawings required.
Prompt and dependable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Qualities
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Proficient in use of AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor.
Must be detail oriented.
Must possess analytical skills.
Must be self-motivated.
Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.
Education And Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Drafting and two to four years related experience.
Manufacturing background preferred.
