Your Role
Performs pre-trip inspection of the vehicle before each shift to ensure a safe operating condition, reporting any issues or questions to supervisor immediately.
Ensures the interior of the vehicle is clean throughout the shift, replenishing used items and cleaning spills as required.
Fuels vehicle before beginning shift and as needed to maintain reliable trip schedule.
Transports a diverse group of passengers in a safe and courteous manner, making scheduled stops at pre-determined routes.
Displays a friendly and courteous disposition to all passengers.
Qualifications
What Will You Need:
Education And Experience Required
Previous experience in driving a 25 passenger shuttle bus and/or transport vehicles
Education And Experience Preferred
Previous commercial driving experience
Licensure, Certification, Or Registration Required
Current A, B or C License in the State of Florida with a P Endorsement and driving record in accordance with Florida Hospital policy
DOT medical certification
Job Summary
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the safe and courteous transportation of passengers throughout Florida Hospital properties. The passengers may be patients, visitors, employees and/or Adventist University students. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
