Roles And Responsibilities
E-commerce Platform Development:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust e-commerce websites and applications using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce).
Customize and extend e-commerce functionalities, including product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways, and order management systems.
Front-End and Back-End Development:
Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to enhance user experience.
Develop server-side logic, APIs, and integrations with third-party services using server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python) and databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
E-commerce Optimization and Performance:
Optimize website performance, loading speeds, and scalability to provide a seamless and efficient online shopping experience.
Conduct performance testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues impacting site performance and user experience.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security best practices, encryption protocols, and PCI DSS compliance standards to protect customer data and ensure secure transactions.
Monitor and mitigate security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks related to e-commerce operations and payment processing.
Integration and Deployment:
Integrate with third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and CRM systems to streamline business operations and improve workflow efficiency.
Manage version control, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes, and deployment of e-commerce updates to production environments.
Documentation and Maintenance:
Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides for internal teams and stakeholders.
Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and updates for deployed e-commerce platforms, including bug fixes, security patches, and feature enhancements.
