Maintains current records for echo-lab certification requirements including study review, technician requirements and the status of Physician compliance.
Performs related work as required.
Performs the correct charges before turning them over to coding for billing.
Maintains education CME's for Echo registry.
Ability to navigate the EMR.
Enter data/demographic information into PACs.

Knowledge & Skills
Experience: Two years to five years experience preferred.
Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical ultrasound program.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Licenses And Certifications
Credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
BLS Certified
IV Insertion training preferred
Physical Requirements
Frequently requires full range of body motion included in handling patients.
Frequently requires lifting items weighing 35 lbs. or more; sometimes required to help move patients from wheel chairs to tables and back to chairs.
