The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. WHO WE ARE:

The Editorial team, a part of Resy's Marketing organization, is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Resy voice, and producing best-in-class content to help diners discover restaurants to love. We tell the stories of the world’s best restaurants, helping to drive a market-leading approach to content that differentiates Resy within the food media world and from our competition.

We are looking for an organized, thorough restaurant-loving Editor and Writer to join our award-winning team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders across various Resy and Amex teams to tell those stories, produce public-facing content, and ensure operational excellence.

This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the Resy Editorial team, and will help support to our Editorial portfolio, with a particular focus on the many content placements within the Resy product. That will mean developing or coordinating proper workflows for top-quality content production, as well as editing for accuracy, compliance, and excellence, in addition to writing original articles and otherwise contributing to our ongoing coverage of the restaurant industry. You will support our reporting of KPIs and other metrics, manage story and other coverage requests from teams within Resy, maintain guides and other service-journalism formats, edit restaurant capsules, and participate in brainstorm sessions.

You will join a hardworking, forward-thinking Editorial team that embodies an inclusive, creative storytelling process. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and care in our content production, always looking to provide the best recommendations and viewpoints for our readers. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage content with precision and accuracy throughout the various Resy channels, including venue page copy, collections, and other placements.
  • Collaborate with Resy’s Restaurant Partnerships team to field incoming requests, and work with partners on handling those requests and messaging outcomes.
  • Copy editing of Resy content: Support QA and general editing processes of Resy editorial content on web, app, and email.
  • Write original content, including restaurant blurbs and original stories.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to build and implement the proper processes and workflows to ensure accurate, compliant, and outstanding content.
  • Support Editorial KPI tracking — Use data analytics to help to evaluate our performance and uncover areas of opportunity to further drive our goals. Collaborate with other team members to share and distribute our results and successes.
  • Share our love of restaurants and want to help us spread that passion.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You are a great teammate with strong verbal communication and writing skills.
  • You showcase an ability to deliver results on time, while maintaining an exacting and organized approach to everything you do.
  • You appreciate critical and dynamic thinking, especially as involves data. You understand how to use research and analysis to drive excellence — and thus results.
  • You have a writing and editing portfolio — be it academic, professional, or personal — that demonstrates writing polish, sophistication, and professionalism. Ideally, your portfolio will include samples of journalism for a professional news organization.
  • You have 1-5 years experience in writing and media, preferably centered around dining, culture, and/or hospitality.
  • You possess a clear knowledge and understanding of grammar and usage, including guides such as the AP Stylebook.
  • You have a clear understanding of the food media landscape, including but not limited to Resy and its competition.
  • You want to learn from your teammates and colleagues, and share our goals to build a better restaurant industry.
  • You are self-motivated and share responsibility for the team’s success and progress.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
