We are looking for a detail-oriented Copyeditor to join our team on a part-time, project-based basis. This role involves finalizing documents to meet client needs across various K—12 Mathematics, English Language Reading and Arts (ELAR), and Spanish Language Reading and Arts (SLAR) product reports. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with teams, demonstrating creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines. Adaptability to changes from both internal management and external clients is essential. Additionally, proficiency in technology and a knack for problem-solving are key.
Role And Responsibilities
Edit and rewrite technical and nontechnical text to produce compelling documents.
Serve as the editor and writer for final product reports outlined in contracts.
Ensure style, grammar, punctuation, content, spelling, readability, and clarity in deliverables.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, analysts, project managers, and other team members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
Minimum 2 Years Of Relevant Professional Experience.
Portfolio showcasing editing and creative work.
Organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and common graphics software.
Strong understanding of language nuances, adaptable writing style, and 508 accessibility standards.
Demonstrated expertise in editing, technical writing, and problem-solving.
