Title- Electrical Controls Engineer

Location – Belleville, New Jersey

Duration: 12 month contract

Job Description

  • Must be proficient in PLC programming (Rockwell Software: Mainly Logix5000, 5000 Emulate) (minimum of 5 years experience).
  • Must be proficient in technical writing (reports for startup projects)
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD, 2D Bill of material generation
  • Must be proficient with panel design (minimum of 3-5 years experience)
  • Must understand AC and DC wiring
  • Be familiar with NEMA industrial control components
  • Have knowledge of code compliance (not necessary but a plus)
  • Must have good communication skills Must be able to troubleshoot existing programming (ladder logic and PC level)
  • Networks include Ethernet, may include DeviceNet.
  • Travel is required for startup on certain projects (approximately 25%)

This role needs strong communication as they will be doing some site travel.
