Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to meet project specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and comply with safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings using CAD tools.
  • Perform electrical calculations and simulations to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, components, or circuits.
  • Ensure that all electrical work meets project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate electrical systems with other disciplines (mechanical, control systems, etc.).
  • Assist in the research and development of new technologies or improvements to existing systems.
  • Document technical specifications, test plans, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) and electrical design tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, or control systems design.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainable design practices.
  • Experience with electrical testing equipment and procedures.
