Electrical Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related.

- PE License

- 7+ years as an electrical engineer

- Expert knowledge in Power Systems Studies and Coordination Studies (CADD- Computer assisted design and drafting 3D and 4D, SKM or ETAP)

- Knowledge of Microsoft Business software (excel, word, etc)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience in electrical design for water/wastewater projects

* Familiarity with SKM Power*Tools or similar electrical system analysis software

Strong project management, client interaction, and mentoring skills.

Job Description

A top Global Engineering and Construction Firm is looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical systems for water and industrial projects. The role includes developing detailed electrical designs, conducting power system studies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will manage projects for various clients, including the US Federal Government, and collaborate on proposals and client interactions. Key Responsibilities:

* Design electrical systems for water and industrial projects, including equipment selection, layouts, one-line diagrams, load calculations, and control schematics.

* Conduct power system studies and electrical calculations, including lighting simulations, communications, fire alarms, and security systems.

* Perform site reviews to ensure designs meet location specifications and update requirements as needed.

* Manage electrical power system and energy projects for diverse clients, including federal agencies.

* Collaborate with sales staff to develop and review proposals for client RFPs.

* Ensure draft proposals comply with regulations and best practices.

* Meet with clients to discuss current and future design needs.

* Represent the firm at conferences and symposia to enhance visibility.

Mentor and supervise junior engineers, supporting their professional development.
