Electrician, PLC programmer in Los Angeles Metropolitan Area
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area for an Electrician, PLC programmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting electrical systems. The Electrician, PLC programmer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical control systems and reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
Qualifications
Experience in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and electrical systems
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience with ladder logic programming, HMI development, and troubleshooting electrical systems
Knowledge of NEC Electrical Codes and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong communication skills
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
