About the Team:
The Hextronics team consists of talented and passionate designers, engineers, technicians, and professionals. We are engineers and professionals with backgrounds in product development and electromechanical design coming from The Georgia Institute of Technology, SpaceX, Starlink, Gulfstream, and Beckman Coulter.
Hextronics is startup, and an engineering company in the drone industry that creates products to facilitate autonomous functionality. Based in Miami, Florida, we have a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about advancing drone-related technologies.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electro-Mechanical Systems Design Engineer. The Electro-Mechanical Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for conducting analysis, designing, testing, and implementing electrical and mechanical systems for drones and drone infrastructure solutions. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and improving the performance of existing systems, as well as creating new systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of Fusion360, or equivalent CAD systems
- Experience with designing and testing electrical and mechanical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering fields.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with drone technology is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and improve performance of existing systems
- Planning to, or currently living in Miami
Desired Skills:
- CAD, C++ or Arduino programming, sheet metal, electronics & circuits, manufacturing
- Stepper motors, sensors, dynamic systems, RF and HVAC engineering

Compensation may be a mix of various sources, such as equity and salary.
