$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Location: San Diego (on-site non-negotiable)

Salary: up to $200k + benefits


As an Embedded Software Team Lead, you’ll lead and inherit a team of 10 engineers and own the whole embedded software arm of the business, in a functional management position.


This company has a rich history of developing products for spacecraft and satellites.


Embedded Software Team Lead Responsibilities:

  • Lead the develop of embedded software for critical spacecraft/vehicle hardware.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical and Hardware division to seamlessly integrate software solutions
  • Lead and manage the Embedded Software team of over 10 people, plus provide technical guidance
  • Maintain overview on embedded testing and requirements, to properly delegate tasks to other engineers


Embedded Software Team Lead Requirements:

  • Experience coding in C++ and Linux/RTOS environments (or relevant experience)
  • At Least 1+ years of Team Leadership experience with functional management responsibilities
  • Related degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar disciplines
