Role And Responsibilities

The Employee Wellness Coordinator will work with the Human Resources team and will be responsible for supporting all of CW Group’s and affiliate employees in various aspects of their lives, including housing, financial literacy, education, and access to employee assistance programs. Additionally, national travel will be required to various company locations and community resource centers.

  • Work closely with employees to assess their needs, provide guidance, and connect them with appropriate resources to ensure their well-being and enhance their work-life balance.
  • All team members must uphold the mission and values and conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Provide individualized support and advocacy for employees facing personal and professional challenges.
  • Assist employees with housing-related issues, including finding housing, dealing with landlord disputes, and understanding tenant rights.
  • Guide employees in accessing educational opportunities and resources, such as continuing education programs, scholarships, and professional development courses.
  • Promote awareness of employee assistance programs and encourage utilization among staff.
  • Provide information and referrals for EAP services, including mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, and financial counseling.
  • Coordinate with Employee Assistance Program providers to ensure employees receive timely and appropriate support.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, national database of community resources, including housing assistance, educational programs, and other support services.
  • Establish relationships with local organizations and agencies to facilitate referrals and collaborations.
  • Connect employees with external resources and follow-up to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics related to wellness, such as stress management, financial literacy, and work-life balance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address specific wellness needs within the organization.
  • Provide confidential referral services (except in circumstances where disclosure is required by law or regulation) to employees, ensuring their privacy and dignity are respected.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of interactions and follow-ups in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Human Resources Department on program outcomes and employee needs.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (Preferred)
  • Certification in mental health or wellness (e.g., Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP), or similar).
  • Minimum of (2) two years of demonstrated experience in the human services field
  • Ability to travel nationally to various company locations and community resource centers.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of community resources and support services.
  • Strong understanding of housing, education, and employee assistance resources.
  • Understanding of employee assistance program best practices.
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations related to employee wellness and mental health.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing wellness programs.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with community organizations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Adaptability to work with diverse employee populations and varying needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with a high level of empathy and cultural sensitivity.
