Job Description

CNBC’s fast-growing executive memberships business, CNBC Councils, is seeking an Engagement Producer with a content-focused, customer-first mindset to drive and execute projects focused on member experience and retention. CNBC Councils convenes and super-serves leading C-level HR, DEI, Technology, Finance and Chief executives with in-depth industry insights, thought leadership opportunities, and peer-to-peer networking. The Engagement Producer, under guidance of the Senior Engagement Manager and in collaboration with other members of the Membership & Editorial teams, will develop and implement tactics that create vibrant content-driven communities with high member retention.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. 

What You'll Do

Community Management and Content Development

  • Update and design communications programs that grow and expand council offerings to C-level executive members, including messaging and content marketing materials.
  • Partner with editorial team to develop a content calendar and produce event recaps and other resources to keep members engaged, address member needs, and support referral marketing; channels may include social media, newsletters, and more.
  • Maintain and execute social media plans that foster a high-touch community and network in between live programs through private community groups
  • Enhance newsletter experience to ensure members receive the best content and benefits for their membership
  • Work with editorial team to develop a process for reviewing and editing and fielding inbound inquiries for CNBC content

Member Experience & Retention

  • Create and track goals and KPIs for member retention, including surveys, event attendance and engagement
  • Craft recommended tactics for audience development for member events and develop a regular cadence of communication with members and member stakeholders that ensures they are taking full advantage of their membership experience
  • Perform website and asset maintenance checks that ensure members and prospective members receive accurate content updates on council benefits and more
  • Collaborate with graphics team to create both council marketing and event production materials
  • Act as point of contact with members, external agencies and partners, facilitating communication and providing strategic/creative feedback while managing approvals.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills and ability to collaborate with key cross-functional partners in editorial, news, sales, marketing, and events teams
  • Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment managing multiple deadlines and projects
  • Experience in using data to make content-driven decisions a plus
  • Address member issues with speed and efficiency
  • Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals
  • Experience leading different senior stakeholders and getting support through negotiation and influencing, demonstrating resilience, tenacity and diplomacy
  • Open communicator who shows curiosity for finding solutions in a nuanced world
