Powder River is looking to hire an experienced Engineer Tech, EIT, or PE, someone familiar with the wireless industry that has experience performing Mount Analysis and Structural Analysis.
Requirements
Position Duties:
Assist engineer(s) with preliminary design development and provide general engineering production administration and support.
Research, data collection and/or entry, and other engineering administrative duties
Performs structural and mount analysis and design for existing building structures, non-building structures and non-structural equipment and their respective anchorage and foundation elements.
Coordinate structural design requirements w/ A&E Project Managers, Drafters, Senior Engineers, Clients, Building Officials, Contractors and other Consultants.
Prepare engineering reports and documents communicating engineering results (to include drafter coordination/review).
Perform quality assurance reviews of structural calculations and drawings.
If you are already a licensed Professional Engineer, provide mentorship and facilitate the professional development of junior engineering staff.
Significant travel not expected, but could be some travel based on need
Qualifications
5-10 years of structural engineering experience (mix of wireless structural w/non-wireless a bonus).
3-6 years of wireless industry experience.
Experience with performing Mount Analyses and Structural Analyses or Assessments for towers, tanks, buildings, etc.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or related applied engineering degree. Or in the process of obtaining your degree.
Minimum Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification (desirable)
Technical communications and documentation skills.
Self-driven with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to work effectively either independently or as part of a group, while utilizing resources as required to successfully complete engineering tasks within a specified deadline.
Code and specifications: IBC, TIA-222, ASCE 7.
Material experience: steel and concrete (masonry, timber, CFS desirable).
Software: Proficiency in the following common engineering software programs: tnxTower, Risa 3D, and Enercalc.
Fluent with Microsoft Office applications.

$70,000 - $90,000/year based on experience
