Engineering Manager

Komline-Harn is growing and hiring an Engineering Manager to join the team! Engineering Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight, regulation and performance of the Engineering team ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The manager leads and develops process and procedures for support of internal and external customers while providing direction & vision to drive efficient and effective designs for custom and standard products.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Plans, executes, and delivers engineering projects within budget, scope, and timeline, ensuring quality standards are maintained
• Provides technical expertise and guidance to the team, reviewing design proposals, identifying risks, and making critical decisions to ensure successful project implementation
• Communicates and collaborates with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and external partners, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Develops and monitors department budgets, resource planning and scheduling ensuring the successful delivery of projects
• Manages the performance of the Engineering team by setting performance goals, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and identifying opportunities for professional development
• Effectively collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering activities with overall business objectives
• Continues to stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation
• Responsible for continuous improvement for engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10+ years of engineering management and supervision with proven ability to lead a team towards achieving common goals
• 5+ years of experience in design and fabrication of reverse osmosis and/or ultrafiltration equipment
• Technical expertise in manufacturing- mechanical, electrical, and process engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts and project updates with a diverse range of individuals
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues and make informed decisions
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office, ERP Systems, AutoCAD, Solidworks
• Ability to travel domestic and international (10%)
• Understanding of business objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs to align engineering activities with overall business strategy
