The Engineering Technical Administrator provides non-engineering, technical and administrative support to the Product Innovation and Prototyping organization as required to facilitate workflow, process improvements, technical events, and effective execution of deadline-driven tasks.

Engineering
The Engineering Technical Administrator provides non-engineering, technical and administrative support to the Product Innovation and Prototyping organization as required to facilitate workflow, process improvements, technical events, and effective execution of deadline-driven tasks.
What you’ll be doing as an Engineering Technical Administrator
- Identify data tasks and coordinate the processing of data within the Product Innovation and Prototyping organization to include developing new information from existing raw data, reviewing data submittals, identifying data discrepancies, and resolving discrepancies.
- Familiarity with data research, analysis, and data correction using business objects, business intelligence, and other data research tools.
- Provide administrative and data management support to assist the Product Innovation and Prototyping teams to provide insight on new product capabilities.
- Compile and perform data analysis and generate reports for departmental initiatives such as: budget tracking and forecasting, capital planning, and other metrics and KPI’s.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of SharePoint or of Network drives including site & page creation, formatting, permissions, and data access management through user groups.
- Assist in tracking progress of on-going projects for Product Innovation and Prototyping teams.
- Maintaining General Technical Tools and Training Documents.
- Assist with developing SOPs for new processes and testing protocols. Develop draft tech briefs.
- Provide technical and administrative assistance for all aspects of Product Innovation and Prototyping.
- Candidate must demonstrate solid communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and/or exchange complex information with industry and internal professionals across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio
- Knowledge of Smartsheet’s is preferred
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Ability to learn new software
- Working knowledge of relational or object-oriented databases and data management.
- Candidate should be highly organized and efficient.
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
