RHS desires an English teacher with a specialty in teaching English II.

Candidate Should Have The Following Qualities

  • Lesson planning Creating lesson plans that incorporate the full duration of each lesson and meet learning objectives
  • Teaching Delivering high-quality instruction, engaging students, and using different teaching styles depending on the content
  • Assessment Creating, assigning, and grading assessments like tests, quizzes, essays, and projects
  • Student support Providing academic support, working with students one-on-one, and identifying students with special needs
  • Classroom management Establishing and enforcing rules of behavior, supervising students, and managing classroom crises
  • Communication Liaising with professionals, informing parents about student performance, and providing feedback based on workload and behavior
  • Collaboration Working with other teachers to develop lesson plans and improve the learning process
