Job Tittle: Enterprise Network Architect (W2 Role)

Location: Montpelier, VT

Client - State of Vermont

Requirements

  • The Contractor shall, in full satisfaction of the specific requirements of this SOW RFP, provide the services set forth herein.
  • Assessing business and applications requirements for corporate data and voice networks
  • Planning, designing, and upgrading network installation projects
  • Establishing and maintaining backup, version-control, and viral defense systems
  • Troubleshooting network architecture and making recommendations for system findings and enhancements
  • Making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Cisco Firewall- design, implementation, configuration, and administration
  • Knowledge of network routing and switching
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of network design principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of Visio for network diagrams
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking
  • Knowledge of advanced NAT, PAT, and other advanced firewall administration
  • Knowledge of network security principles
  • Knowledge of VPN administration
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of DNS
  • Knowledge of Load Balancers
  • Knowledge of DHCP Administration
  • Knowledge of Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto NGFW, IPS, IDS, Remote Connectivity, various monitoring systems, complex networking & firewall configuration, expert troubleshooting of multiple systems.
