This is an enterprise position at Raleigh Radiology in Raleigh, NC for all entities and free-standing outpatient imaging centers.
The primary function of the Entry-Level Business Analyst is to support Senior Leadership Team and business stakeholders in identifying business needs, gathering requirements, and providing data-driven insights to improve business processes and performance. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with limited experience who are looking to start a career incorporating business analysis, strategy, and growth initiatives.
Ii. Major Duties And Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering - 20%
Assist in collecting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders using interviews, surveys, and observation techniques.
Participate in meetings and workshops to understand business needs and challenges.
Data Analysis - 20%
Perform basic data analysis using PowerBI, Excel, and other tools to support business decisions.
Provide data-driven insights such as volume and referral leakage, utilization, and productivity.
Create reports and dashboards to visualize data findings and report them to leadership on a regular cadence with a summary of suggestion(s) for improvement.
Responsible for recognizing patterns in data to support healthy business growth.
Process Documentation - 20%
Help in mapping and documenting business processes and workflows.
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency, specifically in workflows such as interdepartmental workflows.
Assist in consolidating contracts and tracking renewal dates.
Communication - 10%
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management.
Project Support - 15%
Support project management activities by tracking project progress and timelines using project management software.
Assist in coordinating and facilitating project meetings.
Responsible for finding patterns and trends in data to support project outcomes.
Testing and Validation - 10%
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Document and report any issues or discrepancies found during testing.
Duties as Assigned - 5% This position will interact with all departments within Raleigh Radiology to support business strategy and initiatives. Must work collaboratively with leadership in an effort to complete projects effectively and efficiently. Work assigned may not necessarily be limited to job description.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
Previous internship or project experience in business analysis or a related field is a plus, but not required.
DESIRED SKILLS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, including PowerBI and Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with contract management and process improvement techniques.
Ii. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Must be able to read without strain printed material the size of typewriter characters, glasses permitted, and the ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, or the ability to compensate satisfactorily; may be exposed to infections and contagious diseases. Frequent, prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Frequent, prolonged periods of sitting or sedentary work in front of a computer.

Instruction / Assistance / Review of Work: The Entry-Level Business Analyst will report directly to the Executive Director of Operations and will support various projects and initiatives across the organization.
