Entry-Level Civil Engineer

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an entry-level civil engineer to join our Transportation group. This position will be based in our Lexington, SC office.

Responsibilities include working with the design team to assist with preparation of roadway and storm drainage plans; performing design calculations; drafting reports; and calculating quantities and cost estimates.

A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university OR be able to obtain the degree within nine months of hire date.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Transportation coursework
• EIT certification
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
• Experience with MS office software
• A previous internship or employment at the DOT or other civil engineering firm is also a plus.
